Boat Cruise to Halfa Rock, Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon and Caves

Departing from Marfa Bay in Mellieħa, you will embark on a 3.5-hour scenic cruise in the beautiful, crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea to discover the beauty of Comino Island and its surroundings.

Choose your preferred departure time: in the morning for a leisurely morning to afternoon cruise, or in the evening for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to witness a gorgeous sunset at a time when Comino Island is generally less crowded. Unwind and savour the splendour of your surroundings while our friendly captain takes you to stunning locations around the island of Comino.

Cruising along the northern coastline, you will pass by the impressive Elephant Head rock formation and the lesser-known Santa Maria Bay, where you will be visiting the captivating Santa Maria Caves. Your first scheduled stop will be at Ħalfa Rock, located on the southeast coast of the island of Gozo; it is a deserted small islet sitting solitary on the edge of a gorgeous little cove. After your visit to Ħalfa Rock, you will proceed to another incredible location, the famous Blue Lagoon; get ready to be amazed by the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of this beautiful lagoon! This picturesque bay with transparent cyan waters, a white sandy base, and a rich marine life is the most sought-after location on the island of Comino. Your third and final destination will be the stunning Crystal Lagoon on the west coast of Comino Island. The Crystal Lagoon is a perfect spot for divers and snorkelers. With mesmerising turquoise waters surrounded by imposing cliffs and stunning 360-degree views, it is one of the nicest and most sheltered lagoons found in the entire archipelago. Take another refreshing dip and explore the amazing sea caves located within this stunning lagoon.

• If you have booked the option, which includes transportation, please note that the time shown on the website or on your ticket is the departure time of the cruise and not the time when you will be picked up from your hotel (or closest meeting point). At least a few days before the date of your activity, you need to make sure to contact the tour operator to confirm your pickup location (meeting point) and pickup time. Your pick-up time can be any time between 9:15 AM and 10:20 AM (for the morning cruise) and any time between 4:15 PM and 5:20 PM (for the evening cruise). The pick-up time depends on where you are staying.

• If you have booked the option that includes transportation, please confirm your pick-up location (meeting point) and time by emailing internal-tours@robertarrigo.com a few days before your activity. Be sure to include your booking reference number in the email.

• The boat departs from the Marfa Jetty (opposite the Riviera Spa Resort). When you arrive at this location, you need to look for a white boat; the name of the boat is the 'Island Hopper'.

• The duration of this cruise is approximately 3½ hours (excluding transportation time).

• The provider reserves the right to alter the itinerary or change any of the stops depending on prevailing weather conditions, health and safety concerns, or other unforeseen operational circumstances.

• The boat is stroller accessible but not wheelchair accessible.

• Not recommended for travellers with mobility impairments.

• Not recommended for travellers who are prone to sea sickness.

• Pets, large luggage, and large suitcases are not allowed on the boat.

• If the trip is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions, adverse sea conditions, or strong winds, you will be offered to reschedule your activity on a different date; if you cannot reschedule, you will be given a full refund.
