Comino, Blue Lagoon and Gozo Cruise on a Turkish Gullet

The cruise begins with a visit to the renowned Blue Lagoon, where the vessel will stop for around 1 hour and 30 minutes. As you approach Comino, you can enjoy wide ranging views of coastal scenery such as Santa Maria Battery, Elephant Rock, St. Marija Bay, the St. Marija Caves, and St. Nicholas Bay. At the Blue Lagoon, guests may swim in the turquoise water, unwind on board, or choose an optional powerboat trip to nearby caves (available at an extra fee, offered only during the summer season and weather permitting). Those who prefer to explore Comino on land can prebook a landing permit on www.blcomino.com. Guests remaining on board can simply relax, take in the surroundings, or enjoy swimming directly from the boat.

The journey then continues to Gozo, where you will disembark for 2 hours and 30 minutes of free time to enjoy a taste of the island. Upon your arrival in Gozo, you may independently explore Mġarr Harbour and its surrounding area, take a public bus to Victoria—the island’s capital—or hire a cab to any location of your choice.

Alternatively, you may opt for our convenient land transportation service, which can be booked directly on board with our crew for a small (cash only) fee payable on site. For guests joining the morning boat departure, we offer a roundtrip transfer to and from Victoria, where you can explore the majestic Citadel—an impressive medieval fortress renowned for its military architecture, panoramic views, and iconic presence on Gozo’s skyline. For guests joining the afternoon boat departure, the service provides a roundtrip transfer to and from Ramla Bay, one of Gozo’s most stunning beaches, famous for its distinctive red-golden sand and relaxing atmosphere.

During the return trip, the boat will cruise past the impressive Crystal Lagoon, allowing passengers to admire its striking cliffs and vivid blue waters from the comfort of the vessel. Known for its unspoiled beauty and clear seas, this spot offers a memorable final view before heading back.

• Important Notice: Following a new directive issued by the Government of Malta, effective May 2025, all visitors wishing to disembark ashore at the Blue Lagoon must obtain an access pass in advance. Passes can be acquired through the official government website blcomino.com. Please make sure to plan ahead, as the daily pass allocation is limited. You will not be allowed to disembark at the Blue Lagoon without an official pass. Kindly note that this is a government-mandated regulation and not a policy introduced by us. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

• The boat departs from the Marfa Jetty (opposite the Riviera Spa Resort). When you arrive at this location, you need to look for a Turkish gullet (a traditional-design wooden sailing vessel).

• Boarding closes 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time; please ensure that you arrive in time.

• The total duration of this activity is approximately 5 hours.

• During this activity, we will stop for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes at the Blue Lagoon in Comino and for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes in Gozo.

• This is not a guided tour; when you disembark at any location, the time spent at each location will be at your leisure (free time).

• During our stop in Gozo, you may join one of our buses or coaches for a small fee, payable on site. For guests on the morning departure, this service provides roundtrip transportation to and from Victoria. For guests on the afternoon departure, the service provides roundtrip transportation to and from Ramla Bay. This service can be conveniently booked on-site with our crew and paid directly on location. The cost of this service is €5 per person; however, the provider reserves the right to adjust the price slightly without prior notice. Only cash payments are accepted for this service.

• The boat is stroller accessible but not wheelchair accessible.

• Not recommended for travellers with mobility impairments.

• Not recommended for travellers who are prone to seasickness.

• Pets, large luggage, and large suitcases are not allowed on the boat.

• A cash bar serving various beverages is available on the boat. Both cash and credit card payments are accepted at the bar.

• The optional powerboat trip to the Comino Caves is not included in the price; this can be booked on-site with the crew and paid on location. The boat trip is optional and is always subject to weather conditions. The fee is €10 per person (the fee can change slightly without prior notice). Both cash and credit card payments are accepted for the optional powerboat trip.

• The provider reserves the right to change the order of the visits or alter the itinerary subject to weather conditions or unforeseen operational constraints.

• If the trip is cancelled due to poor weather, sea conditions, or strong winds, you will be offered to reschedule your activity on a different date; if you cannot reschedule, you will be given a full refund.

• No refunds will be issued to customers who are unable to disembark at the Blue Lagoon due to not having a government-issued pass. It is the customer's responsibility to obtain the required pass in advance.
