Three Cities of Malta Half-day Sightseeing Tour
Step back through the mists of time as we take you to the fortress of Cottonera, known as the three cities; Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the three cities. Take a short boat trip onboard a traditional Maltese boat.
Discover the Grand Harbour area opposite Valletta known as the Three Cities – Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea, where the Knights of Malta first settled on the islands in 1530. Driving past Cospicua we reach Vittoriosa for a walking tour through narrow winding streets in the shade of historical buildings, including the Collachio, the area with the first Auberges run by the various Langues of the Order.
From Vittoriosa waterfront, hop onto the traditional boat (weather permitting), id-daghjsa tal-pass, to enjoy a tour around the historical harbour creeks. From Senglea gardens, situated at the tip of the peninsula, enjoy a breathtaking 360degrees view of the Grand Harbour, including the impressive Fort St Angelo, the fort that withheld the onslaught of the Ottoman Turks which was defeated by the Grandmaster Jean La Vallette during the battle of the Great Siege in 1565!
