In as little as two and a half hours, your self-drive electric car will take you around Malta’s famous Three Cities. The incredible views from Gardjola Gardens are hard to leave, but with so many awe-inspiring churches, traditional piazzas, and architectural riches to see, you’ll need to tear yourself away at some point!

The cars are unbelievably fun, safe and easy to drive, not to mention environmentally responsible, letting you experience authentic Maltese culture and climate first hand. Fancy trying that café, or bunking off the rest of the activity to sit on the beach? No problem. It’s your tour, your way.

Start off by enviously scoping out the yachts in the beautiful, Grand Harbour Marina. Then enjoy the trendy waterfront lined with cafés and restaurants, before touring to the secluded sandy beach of Rinella Bay – and that’s just the warm up act. There are plenty more things to do and to see.

The tour encompasses everything from the famous Malta Film Studios, to imposing forts, to the tiny charming streets that characterise this area. With each turn of the wheel, your talking car tells you about the sights in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian or Mandarin.

        • The time shown on the website or on your ticket is the approximate start time of the activity.
        • This tour has no pick-up service, you have to make your way to the meeting point. The meeting point address is given in the tour’s meeting point details - Rolling Geeks, Xatt ir-Rizq, Birgu.
        • No dress code is required unless entering churches; comfortable seasonal clothing is recommended. To enter churches, shoulders and up to the knees must be covered. Wear comfortable footwear and avoid flipflops. 
        • Kindly let us know your preferred starting time when completing this booking, or by contacting us by email .
          • In the summer months (1-April - 31-Oct), self-drive electric cars can be booked every day, Monday to Sunday. From Monday to Sunday (except Tuesday) bookings are done between 09:30 and 15:30 (last tour). On Tuesdays bookings are done from 12:00 to 15:30. 
          • In the winter months (1-Nov - 31-Mar), self-drive electric cars can be booked every day except on Tuesday. From Monday to Sunday (except Tuesday) bookings are done between 09:30 and 15:30 (last tour). Closed on Tuesdays.
          • We will try our best to accommodate your request.
        • Drivers must be aged between 21 and 75 years old.(Minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 75 years).
        • Drivers need to present a valid driving license and credit card. Temporary, provisional licences, photos or copies of the driving licence will not be accepted. 
        • Every Self-drive electric car can take a maximum of 4 persons (2 Adults and 2 Children under 12 years old). The maximum weight in the car cannot exceed 300kg.
        • Guests will be required to present a credit card upon arrival. An amount of Euro30 will be blocked on the card, as a guarantee only.
        • Kindly ensure that you are on time for the tour as otherwise we cannot guarantee the booking. Please be at the Rolling Geeks office at least 30 minutes before the starting time, for paperwork and briefing.
        • The tour is not recommended for travellers with mobility impairments.
        • It is not advisable for pregnant women and persons suffering from severe back problems, to take this tour. 
        • The tour is not wheelchair accessible. Guests with mobility challenges or using a wheelchair, kindly contact us for more information and guidance for the selected tour.
        • The self-drive electric cars are covered by a fully comprehensive insurance.
        • Pets, large luggage, and suitcases are not allowed during the tour.
        • Bags and any personal items have to be attended to at all times. The company will not be held responsible for any damages or loss of personal items while on tour. Guests are expected to stay with the guide and follow any instructions while on tour.
        • The tour will operate as scheduled, rain or shine.
        • Always take any vouchers or documents provided during purchase - Both electronic and paper vouchers are accepted.
        • TOUR CANCELLATION: The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour without prior notification. All tours shall operate subject to a minimum participation.
        • Bookings preferably 48 hours in advance.

        What to bring
